
July 8- On June 26, Congressman Rothman joined a group of his colleagues on Capitol Hill to announce legislation to reduce oil speculation in the energy markets. Experts agree that speculation is inflating the price of oil, possibly as much as $70 a barrel. Michael, an upcoming senior at the Academies at Englewood, was in town for a Presidential Classroom summer program. Teen Safety Measure Passes House
June 25- Today, a teen safety measure introduced by Rep. Rothman overwhelming passed the House of Representatives as part of groundbreaking legislation to stop child abuse and neglect at private treatment facilities, such as teen boot camps and correctional boarding schools. Read more.
